81 Annie Brenchley at Coughton Court
Artform: Painting
Annie is a contemporary oil painter, whose work ranges from observed ‘still life’ to landscapes and seascapes of place she has visited, normally started ‘en plein air’ and finished at home in her studio. My exhibition theme will be ‘Light and Shadow’ and will feature paintings of light falling on local rivers and woodland paths, along with her favourite still life compositions to include tangerines, lemons and cherries… capturing the good things when life moves so fast. Along with a selection of original oil paintings, Annie will have a selection of cards and giclee prints. I will have my sketchbooks, including notans and thumbnails to show how I begin preparing for paintings and I will also be painting from a still life set up.
Annie has exhibited locally with LSA Art Room, Art Societies and Galleries, including Broadway Arts Festival. Annie won the composition award at Stratford Art Society in 2024 and her work was recently accepted to the Friend’s exhibition at the RBSA.
