I am the printmaker behind the ‘Punctured Artefact’, a studio dedicated to the alchemical process of non-toxic etching. My practise focuses on creating original, limited-edition copperplate etchings, each individually hand-pulled on an intaglio printing press.These pieces often combine traditional and experimental techniques, including aquatint, spit-bite, drypoint, embossing, and experimental resists. Driven by a passion for technical challenge, I aim to achieve high levels of detail, precision, and complexity. Often on a very small scale. My work explores the intersection of organic forms and structured geometry, blending clean, angular lines with the delicate textures of dot-work and soft aquatint. These elements are woven together through intricate motifs that oscillate between natural and mathematical patterns. I hold a fascination with geometry, symbolism, symmetry, alchemy & nature. I also explore my artistic vision through textiles, tattoo and digital art.
