As part of our 21st birthday year, we are very excited to bring to you over 320 artists exhibiting at 117 venues across Coventry and Warwickshire. Please take the time to explore their information and discover the wonderful quality and diversity of work that they will present to you over the 16 days of this celebration of art. Check out the venues that are near to you or, if you have a particular artform you love, you can narrow your search that way.
This year we have a wonderful array of venues from canal boats to churches, the oldest tennis club in the world to farms and barns, as well as the usual gardens, studios and homes. You can see paintings, drawings, ceramics, photography, sculptures, jewellery, textiles, glassware, printwork, woodcraft and much more...
To find out more, visit the Summer Art Weeks pages.
Once again we are going to bring you lots of fabulous content from our artists for you to enjoy from the comfort of your own home, particularly if you are not able to make it to any of the physical events. If you visit the Profiles section of the website, you can see many more images of individual artists' work, view videos of them in action or select a favourite theme to see how the different artists respond .
With the Government's current roadmap, we expect most Summer Art Weeks venues to fall into the bracket of non-essential retail and commercial galleries, and as such they are allowed to be open under step 2, which began on 12th April. With the expected further easing of lockdown, the event should fall during either step 3 or 4. Each venue will therefore follow the guidelines relevant to that particular time and the space they have available. We do recommend that you check the website before making a visit to ensure the opening times for a specific venue have not changed. This website will contain the most up-to-date information.
