Painting and drawing have always been my passions, along with horses. I’ve explored and looked at developing a style that is the relationship between humans and nature, the beauty of horses, and the emotions they evoke in me.
Through subtle tones, carefully chosen colours and the medium of soft pastels, they allow me to capture the ‘whisper’ of horses and nature – a quiet presence I strive to capture in every piece.
Although I have been painting and drawing for many years,I am a relatively new artist and have researched and experimented with different mediums, some of which have surprised me, however I always return to pastels. Here I am most comfortable. My preference is a soft finish, one that is calming and serene.
I like to explore styles from realism to abstract and contemporary.
