Judith loves to observe a variety of subjects but as a former conservationist , nature and the environment are key to her work. She also loves to people watch and a variety of different characters appear in her work,linked to their own imagined stories.For example an old man in a stetson and a Ferrari jacket is painted ..not in a fast car but pushing a lawnmower.An older lady is depicted dancing by the bandstand in Leamington.
Stories and poetry are also important to the artist recently published the Dog United series of childrens’ books which will be available at the venue.You can see how the illustrations were transformed into the books.
At the venue you can chat to the artist,see her at work and browse the artwork while enjoying free refreshments.
