Mixed media, printmaking and collage exploring colour, line, texture & composition.
For the printmaking aspect of my work I use gelli plates, a process of layered mono printing using acrylics, where each print is unique. I work intuitively working on multiple pieces at the same time. Prints are often further worked into using acrylic, gouache and Posca pens. Other works are layered mixed media collage pieces.
I will be exhibiting:
– Original artworks mounted on wooden blocks in a variety of sizes. These are wonderful objects which can be moved around the house, which don’t need fixing to a wall. They make lovely gifts.
– Framed original artworks
– Mounted original artworks
– Window mounted cards
– Notebooks
My garden studio will be open.
