Having worked in the IT Industry for many years than I care to remember, I was made redundant for the second time. Only this time I took advantage of a government scheme where they paid towards retraining people in whatever skill you liked. I chose to undertake an 18 week course in traditional upholstery. I really enjoyed this and the work that subsequently followed. I then decided to go to night classes to learn the art of stained glass and copper foiling. I found it so relaxing and enjoyed the challenge of taking pieces of glass cutting them up and the sticking them back together with either lead or solder. I have created many beautiful objects and would like to share them with you.
