Francine Brown is a British artist who currently lives in Warwickshire, England, with her husband and two children. Francine began her design career when she was awarded a BA Honours degree in Illustration in 2000 before joining a top London design agency. She subsequently enjoyed a variety of roles within an ever-changing design world, adding Graphic Design and Visual Communication to her skill set. In 2020 Francine embarked on a new direction for her career and has returned to her first love of painting. Francine is well-known for her artistic skills in her local area and has acquired a waiting list for commission work.
Francine observes her subject with sensitivity and patience, determined to capture that quintessential moment when a deeper narrative reveals itself. By delicately applying layers of watercolour pigment on a wet clay surface, Francine is able to give her paintings a vivid yet natural luminosity, a medium she finds best represents her vision. Francine’s work is always evolving as she continually pursues new inspiration and ideas to keep her work fresh.
