Katy Walden graduated with a BA (Hons) Degree in Fine Art from Falmouth School of Art and is still drawn to the coast as inspiration for her work, as well subjects closer to her Warwick home. Her work is based on observation, using her visual language of brush strokes and marks to capture the essence and light of a landscape or still life.
Katy has previously exhibited works in The Mall Galleries and won an award with the N.E.A.C . She has been a regular exhibitor at the LSA Art Room in Leamington Spa and had work selected for the Broadway Arts Festival Open exhibition, The Rugby Open at the Rugby Art Gallery and the CASE exhibition at The Herbert Gallery in Coventry.
