I developed an interest in Printmaking while completing a degree in Printed Textiles at Hornsey Art College. I have enjoyed experimenting with a wide range of Printmaking techniques including Intaglio, Relief, Screen and Mono printing. I also enjoy collecting imagery directly from the environment using gel and eco printing, frottage and collage plates. I was a founder member of Milton Keynes Printmakers and ran the Surface Design and Printmaking department at Milton Keynes College for many years.
Since moving to Leamington Spa in 2008 I have had several independent exhibitions and taken part in local group exhibitions with WOS, UK Artists, Stratford on Avon Art Society and Leamington Studio Artists. At present I am developing my interest in photography, completing a Land Art Photography Course and experimenting with a range of photographic and printmaking techniques to build the layers of the final piece. My work celebrates the constantly changing seasons, weather, and mood of our beautiful and threatened environment.
