I have a had a busy year, with several quite large commissions. the largest one was to produce paintings for the walls of the Macmillan Support Centre at Stratford Hospital, for which i painted 6 large works based on gardens, rivers and trees. I have included one of these above in the online gallery.
I've also had several private commissions to paint portraits, often of children.
I work part time as an artist, spending the rest of my time composing music for television and schools and teaching in a local Primary School. I love colour, and I love Nature. I am always fascinated in the way light changes the appearance of a scene - and one of my favourite times of day is when the light is fading, and colours become deeper.
I am always very happy to discuss commissions if you have a favourite scene, a portrait, or a pet which needs capturing for posterity!
