Self-taught and painting seriously since 1995, I have developed a distinctive landscape practice. Working in oils on wooden board, my work explores place through atmosphere, structure, and a strong sense of presence. My paintings are large-scale, typically around three feet square, inviting the viewer to step into the landscape rather than simply observe it.
My work will be exhibited on the walls of an old Baptist Chapel, now home to my son and daughter-in-law’s furniture showroom. The chapel has been thoughtfully transformed into a series of beautifully styled, home-like interiors, featuring a carefully curated selection of furniture and accessories. This unique setting allows visitors to experience the paintings in a domestic context, making it easier to imagine how the work might sit within their own homes.
