Why I love dogs! . . .
Because they are fun, affectionate, energetic and joyous. I’ve been painting dogs for people for years and loved every minute. You can see examples of my work at www.dogasticportraits.co.uk. Sadly, a dog’s life is short compared with ours, so it’s important to have pictures to remember them by. No two dogs are ever the same. I strive to capture ‘your’ best friend in my paintings as I know just how important they are.
A Tysoe based artist-illustrator and member of TWASI (The Wildlife Artists Society International), I also enjoy exploring the infinite variety of the natural world and like working in bold colours. I look forward to showcasing my work at Arts in the Cotswolds at Tysoe Village Hall, alongside a fabulous group of fellow artists. While my focus is on painting and drawing animals, there is a wide variety of art forms within our group, so plenty to see and buy!
