I am a contemporary landscape and seascape artist working primarily in acrylic and mixed media. My paintings are inspired by the natural world, not as a record of specific places but as an exploration of how it feels to be within them – moments of quiet, light and emotional pause.
My work often explores the in-between: between seasons, certainty and change, what has passed and what is still unfolding. I’m drawn to subtle shifts in weather and light, and to open horizons that suggest movement rather than resolution. Through layered surfaces, texture and restrained colour palettes, I aim to create a sense of calm that feels grounded and reflective. Details are intentional but understated, hinting at hope and resilience and with a background in design and textiles, I bring a strong sense of composition to my practice. Music, memory and personal experience also influence my work.
My aim is to create work for people who want their homes to feel calm and emotionally resonant.
