I create bold, often large-scale abstract oil paintings driven by movement, energy and atmosphere. Fluid blends are layered with rich texture, drawing the viewer in and inviting moments of pause and reflection.

Working primarily in oils, I use a palette knife to build depth, texture and expressive mark making. Each painting begins with a clear intention for colour and composition, then evolves organically as I respond to the material and the process.

Inspired by colour combinations, the emotional pull of music, and the spontaneous movement of paint across the canvas, my work develops into layered, emotive compositions. I often work at a large scale, allowing energy and movement to build naturally within each piece.

Come and visit my new studio at the Stoneleigh Arms Arts Centre to experience the work in person and watch live painting demonstrations and meet my fellow studio artists.
