Sue’s inspiration comes from the ever changing world in which we live. She responds spontaneously to the environment, and creates images both real and imagined, that are interpretive of mood and atmosphere.
Sue has been exhibiting for a number of years at both LSA and WOS.
Her successes include selection for inclusion at “Opens” in Coventry, Rugby, RWA Bristol, RBSA Birmingham; also at the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour, SWA (Society of Women Artists) and ING Discerning Eye at the Mall Galleries, London.
Sue is delighted to be exhibiting at the Art Barn again this year alongside fellow artists Angela Webb and Jan Gay.
New to Open Studios at the Art Barn this year are ceramicist Jane Emmerson and Rebecca Small, a weaver from New Zealand, both based in Stratford; also Jan Gay, a painter, and Phil Irons, woodturner.
All making for an exciting exhibition!
