Art in the Barn @ Glebe Farm
Region: Shipston-on-Stour
Artform: Painting
I’m excited to be taking part in Warwickshire Art Weeks for the first time. The exhibition is taking place in a barn on our farm – you can expect beautiful views, fresh barista coffee & homemade treats! I use the barn weekly for pop up coffee mornings and have a tuk tuk coffee van which you will see surrounded by beautiful artwork depicting mostly local scenes.
Two local artists are joining me – we paint regularly in the barn whatever the weather! We inspire each other and give each other a nudge to get the paints out and give it a go …
I moved to Warwickshire in 2013 and joined an art class in order to meet people. Having done very little art since school I was pleasantly surprised to find that I loved it and haven’t looked back!
I love oils and do animal portraits primarily as commissions. Alongside this I love painting my children and my pets; and I’m creating a collection of paintings inspired by our farm where we grow daffodils, sunflowers, and pumpkins for the public.
