I love clay and all the possibilities it offers for creativity and imagination, self expression, interpretation, representation, innovation, experimentation, construction, decoration, functionality, and … having fun,while bringing to life a long-lasting, unique and personal piece of ceramic.
As an activity it is highly sociable and as hands create, ideas, imagination, and potential are released.
I am now fulfilling a teenage dream … creating with clay myself while sharing my knowledge and passion with others through workshops, one-off fun sessions, and community projects. I am my own master, have my own studio, and the flexibility to respond to the ideas and aspirations of others. I am so fortunate!
My work is hand-built and I love experimenting with structures and surfaces, often creating multiple forms and sometimes incorporating glass and found objects from coastal expeditions. I am inspired by all things geological, archaeological, and watery! At Art In Dunchurch find me by the pond!
