I have always been fascinated by the regeneration of plants, how each season they pop up through the brown previous year’s growth ,often entwining their stems around the old. I work with preloved fabrics and new , this replicates the old and new growth.
My large paintings reflect my line drawings of plants and are created ” Jackson pollock style ” by drawing in the air with sticks. More often I use left over house hold paints.
My seat coverings and deckchair slings have , torn and frayed edges and home dyed colours , often rag rugged top covers .
We are a rural setting but only five minutes from Southam by car. Warm welcome of course.
