77c Clare Shilvock (Warwickshire Willow) at Brook Arts Hub

Artform: Sculpture
Clare Shilvock (Warwickshire Willow) transforms the willow that she grows into sculptural, functional baskets, catkin-covered woven forms, garden structures and homeware. Inspired by nature and sustainable living, she blends traditional skills with contemporary design. At Warwickshire Open Studios, visitors can watch weaving demos, explore her creations and discover the journey from living willow to finished pieces. Based in Stratford-upon-Avon and working across Warwickshire and the Cotswolds, Clare’s work has been commissioned for RHS Chelsea Flower Show, BBC Gardeners’ World Live, the World Health Organisation and the Royal Shakespeare Company. Visitors are warmly invited to see her work, enjoy the informal, welcoming exhibition spaces and to be inspired by beauty, sustainability and the enduring relevance of willow craft.
