Nicky is a mixed media artist exploring colour and painting from memory and her imagination. Her work is often inspired by Welsh and Scottish landscapes, amongst other natural beauties. Nicky learnt her initial love of art from her mum, Dee, and followed in her footsteps starting first with exploring watercolours. Over the years Nicky has developed a style incorporating a variety of mediums including acrylic, pencils, crayons and oils. Her work is often layered with multiple textures and filled with movement and emotion. Nicky enjoys painting and designing and has turned her original artwork into gift items.
