I will be exhibiting alongside printmaker Louise Cathryn Male, inside her home, allowing us to showcase our work in an environment similar to where it is intended for. Our work contrasts greatly in terms of techniques, detail and colour, but they work beautifully next to each other. For visitors being able to view a variety of artworks in a comforting and inspiring space means they can really interact closely with the work. Both myself and Louise will gladly explain our processes, and share our creative journey, and knowledge.
My work can have incredibly delicate fine details but it is all meant to be playful and joyful, whilst equally making my brain work hard to make it a successful outcome, whatever form that may take. Patterns are my main focus, but I tend to work across a variety of materials depending on what best suits an idea. My degree was in Design:Crafts and so my range of skills stem from there, further developed over the years across many projects and courses.
