35 Viv Egid at Arts and Crafts at Leasowe Farm

Come and see my unique botanical ceramics in the beautiful studio and courtyard garden at Leasowe Farm. Many people return every year to admire the art and the garden, and chat with Jane Ingall, (original paper and fabric creations) , Hazel Godfrey (contemporary basketry) and myself. We will be demonstrating daily at 12 noon and 2 pm and homemade refreshments are available.

My ceramics are inspired by the changing seasons, landscapes, and the beauty of the natural world. Much of the decoration in my botanical vases, bowls and coasters uses real flowers and plants, carefully hand-painted after the first firing and each one totally unique. I have been developing forms incorporating wood, willow, and other natural materials into the fired pieces and this year I will be showing more garden ceramics such as bird baths and totem poles.
