This year I am opening up the summer house at the rear of my garden, where I hope to have installed a new workbench and aim to be making pieces while people are having a mooch. I love the whole experience of jewellery making, from design to forming, hammering, soldering and best of all polishing to ensure the piece looks as good as it can. My background in Architecture does help me a lot, the precision of a cut (having a good eye for detail, honed over many years in Architecture) to choosing the form of a piece and creating simple yet elegant items that are to be worn everyday and not saved for best !
