We welcome you to a vibrant exhibition of contemporary art and photography. Dale Street Methodist Church is the perfect setting in the town centre to come and see the work of talented individual artists, a vibrant painting group, and the unique Land Art Photography group. Jane Yates, Lorna Ashworth, Judy Dyson, Cathy Renken, Bridget Mattingly, and Ellie Rose, Painting Without Numbers, Mixed Media Art, and the Land Art Photography Group will all be exhibiting. Why not come, meet the artists, see demos of printmaking, take part in making some land art, and join our varied workshops. My work is expressive, layered and evocative, I take my inspiration from local woodlands and from mountains and sea further afield in the UK. I am drawn to how light and shade affects form and texture in these landscapes, exploring my observations and ideas in the tactile mediums of charcoal, acrylic and collage.
