Region: Warwick
Artform: Digital art, Drawing, Illustration, Painting
Katie enjoys painting places and moments that catch her eye: quirky buildings and small hidden spots that have a story. Her favourite medium is watercolour & ink because of its freedom and experimental quality. To Katie, drawing is a mindful practice. It’s about capturing the experience of a place or moment in all of its detail. By looking closely at buildings & nature, by exploring every part of a moment, Katie feels a connection to it and captures her experience in a handmade piece of artwork. Every painting, drawing and sketch captures a meaningful experience from her life. Katie also enjoys working on commissions to capture moments for others to share and keep in their homes forever.
Surrounded by the heritage and history of Warwick, Katie’s artwork will be exhibited at the beautiful grade 1 listed building, the Court House on Jury Street. Katie will have a variety of watercolour and ink paintings and drawings (including flowers, animals & local buildings) on show and for sale.
