My bold, colourful acrylic paintings are inspired by the places I’ve lived, travelled through and carried with me in memory. Rather than depicting exact locations, I create composite cityscapes, blending experiences, memories, and details into imagined scenes.

After not painting since my school days, I returned to art four years ago inspired by a neighbour and fellow Open Studios exhibitor. With their support and encouragement I picked up a brush again, curious to see where it might lead.

Bold colour palettes and illustrative detail now sit at the heart of my work. I enjoy layering elements from different places and times, creating cityscapes that reflect how I remember a place rather than how it appears on a map.
