Deb Jones Willow will be offering demonstrations in basketry & willow sculpture plus showcasing a number of unique pieces made in her local studio. She has been a basket maker & willow sculptor for 14 years & is based in Staverton in a quirky converted chicken shed! Courses are held monthly, and Deb offers one-to-one tuition & group workshops. Visitors are welcome to call in & browse works in progress & purchase items in stock, including a wide range of ‘make at home’ craft kits, suitable for all abilities. Deb started her career working with willow when she went on a course for her mental wellbeing and quickly fell in love with the craft and the mindfulness it gives. She enjoys passing on her skills far and wide, often travelling across the country to deliver talks, demonstrations and tuition. The willow used in her work is sourced in the UK, supporting British Farming and smaller growers, plus, she loves to forage and her work often includes Hazel, driftwood and repurposed materials.
