Biography

 

Caroline Walsh-Waring is a UK-based surrealist painter living and working in Pathlow, Warwickshire. Her distinctive visual language draws on memory, emotion, and the natural world, transforming personal experiences into imaginative and expressive works of art.

A lifelong passion for drawing led her to Art College however art had to be but put on hold due to practical circumstances.  Eventually Caroline to pursued further training while working in London and on advice from tutors, attended courses in Europe. This later return to formal study reignited her creative path and solidified her commitment to painting.

Working primarily in oil on canvas, she also explores other media including watercolour, pen, and pencil. Her work has been shown in events across the UK, and she has completed private commissions. In 2025, she was featured in the VAA International Online Exhibition – Curators Choice Awards, a Shortlisted Finalist in the VAO UK & International Emerging Artist Awards 2022 and long listed in the VAA Artist of the Year 2024. Caroline is an active member of the Association of Midland Artists, Leamington Studio Artists, and Stratford Art Society, regularly exhibiting in both local and national shows.
