Step away from the everyday and immerse yourself in a day of creativity, nature, and Cyanotype making.

Join us for a beautifully relaxed All-Day Cyanotype Workshop Retreat set on a stunning flower farm, where you’ll reconnect with nature and explore one of the most magical photographic processes.

Your day begins with a warm welcome from our flower farmer, Naomi from Paintbox Blooms, sharing the story and importance of British-grown flowers. You’ll then wander the fields, hand-picking your own blooms and foliage to cyanotype with or simply admire — your personal collection for the day’s creative journey.

From there, we’ll ease into cyanotyping, starting with the foundational techniques before gradually exploring more expressive approaches. You’ll watch your prints come to life in rich, Prussian blues using the very flowers you’ve gathered — a process that feels equal parts science and wonder.

Midday, we pause. Bring your own lunch, find a quiet spot, and soak in the surroundings — this is your time to rest, connect, and simply be.

In the afternoon, we’ll take things further as you experiment with printing onto fabric. You’ll create your own beautifully unique tote bag, along with a selection of fabric samples to take home — each piece a reminder of your day immersed in creativity.
