An Oil and Cold Wax Workshop – Creating Landscapes with Trees, Water and Reflections.

Saturday 18th July 2026 10am-4pm at Cropthorne Village Hall, Cropthorne, Nr Pershore Worcestershire (WR10 3NH).

Fancy fiery trees and dreamy reflections? Dive into the captivating world of oil and cold wax painting as we embark on an exploration of expressive landscapes containing trees, water and reflections. Create colourful, loose, impressionistic landscape paintings using oils and cold wax medium.

Learn to choose your colour palette to create paintings with warm Summer or Autumn hues or a cool palette for Spring and Winter landscapes.

We will be working on a number of paintings at once helping you to paint with confidence, embrace spontaneity and develop an artistic voice that is uniquely yours. Set aside the rigidity of replicating photos and discover the liberating power of your imagination and intuition.

There will be lots of 1-2-1 guidance and support, demonstrations of techniques, and handouts to take home. Cold wax and many of the tools you’ll need can be provided for you. A full materials list will be sent out to participants after booking if you want to bring your own.
