Summer Art Weeks is the key event of the year for me, and I am delighted to be part of Art In Dunchurch once again. This garden setting in the heart of Dunchurch is the dream destination for an art lover, with eighteen artists in one venue, and a covered, outdoor café serving home baked cakes, plus live jazz and cocktails on the late evening. Don’t miss it!
This year in the studio has been exciting. A time of experimentation, new materials and new processes, all building on more than twenty years of being a watercolour artist. I have been pushing out into some different directions with my work, learning what speaks to me and leaning into it. This has included more sketching, playing with techniques, and delving into the world of abstraction. Some of my new pieces combine elements of these, or are informed by the results of this experimentation.
My show will be a mix of old and new styles, and will include original paintings, prints, cards and gifts. I hope you like it!
