My most recent series of paintings is a set of abstract portraits that I call my “fractured “ series. They feature celebrities mainly as we tend to feel we have a connection with them, but there is a direct connection between the style and my choice of how I represent them. The series recently won the Stratford-upon-Avon Montpellier award and I’m very proud of that . My garden studio is a working studio. I gave up my part-time job in 2022 so that I could fully immerse myself in art, like I did 10 years ago when I took 5 years out to study art and design at college and get my Fine Art art degree at university. I also make seascapes and landscapes when my eyes need a break from the monochrome lines that make up my fractured paintings and jewellery. At the studio you are welcome to see, discuss and buy my work. I was recently taken on by a publisher, so my work will start to be more recognisable as it gets out to more galleries.
