Sandra is an award winning artist who graduated with a degree in fine art and art history in 2015 . Sandra began as a photo realistic artist working in dry media and only started painting in 2010 whilst studying art and design at college . Her main work looks at the human condition and identity and more recently the discourse around our mental health and the ideas of how to represent broken as an image . Sandra works in series like her favourite artist Gerhard Richter and loves the freedom this gives her to not worry too much about painting in a certain style.She loves being able to revisit old themes and add new work to previous series to prevent painters blocks. Sandra has recently been taken on by a small publishing company who will be distributing her work through a nationwide network of galleries, so now is a very exciting time to visit her working studio .
