Watercolour Portrait Painting of Girl in Baker Boy Hat
Region:
Alcester
Artform:
Painting

An exhibition of contemporary portraits, figures and landscapes. Francine observes her subject with sensitivity and patience, determined to capture that quintessential moment when a deeper narrative reveals itself.  By delicately applying layers of watercolour pigment on a wet clay surface, Francine is able to give her paintings a vivid yet natural luminosity, a medium she finds best represents her vision.  Francine’s work is always evolving as she continually pursues new inspiration and ideas to keep her work fresh. Francine will be demonstrating her process and available to answer any questions you may have throughout the event. Please check with her directly to confirm the times she will be at the gallery. Original artwork & prints will be on sale, commissions accepted. Also exhibiting are the talented Lucinda Batchelor and Michele Carruthers.

The exhibition is held at The Golden Cross, a stunning traditional 18th century country pub set in the heart of Warwickshire countryside.
