I love painting outdoors and I feel truly alive when finding new ways to express the light, beauty and emotion in the landscape under the changing skies. Oils and acrylics are my preferred mediums; working with a limited palette, I enjoy exploring abstract and impressionistic techniques using exciting colour combinations, exploring shapes, texture and experimenting with different mark-making implements. ​Water and reflections fascinate me and I love painting them whether in a river, lake, wet sand or a lowly puddle!
