My work explores the liminal space between art and science. I find inspiration in natural forms and their patterns that are forged in the laws of physics. I enjoy the physicality of working in clay and on canvas, and the ethereal nature of digital. My work is representational- sometimes a human hand, or a horse’s head, sometimes a turbulent vortex, a crashing wave, or an electromagnetic field. There is beauty in the symmetries of nature that the eye cannot always see. I make patterns shaped by the laws of physics and sculpted with human hands.
Visit my working studio in Kenilworth to see ceramics and paintings. Some paintings and ceramics are heavy/large scale – there is parking right out front with a short walk to the studio which is at ground level. I can be contacted through my web page.
