Biography
My ambition as a child was to eventually go to Art School. I had a hunger to do painting and drawing. I studied Graphic Design and Illustration at Newport in South Wales. I have always been a book worm and the illustrations brought stories alive. I too wanted to be an illustrator.
Watercolour, pen and ink and etchings are what draw me. The vibrant colours of watercolour are magical. Painting animals, flowers and recording memories of sunny afternoon in gardens. Old greenhouses and a cat fast asleep in the wheel barrow. The particular not the general. Anything from old snail shells, to picking up broken pottery, dried flower heads. Ephemera. An eclectic mix of objects that I think are beautiful.
