Classes for Warwickshire open Studio

Children’s classes age 7 to 16 max 8 per group £30 for 2 hours

Group 1 – Sketch & Watercolour Play A relaxed, expressive session where children can explore:

• Sketching techniques
• Watercolour painting
• Charcoal experimentation
• Creative textures using soapy water
• A touch of gold for magical finishes

A calm, playful environment focused on creativity and confidence.

 

Group 2 – Abstract Mixed Media Play A fun, colourful session designed for free expression:

• Mixed media exploration
• Bold colour play
• Texture and layering
• No rules, no pressure

No experience needed – just an open mind and a love of creating.

All materials included 

Adult classes max 8 per group £38 for 2 hours

Group 1 – Abstract Landscape (Outdoor / Studio Weather Permitting)

• A relaxed creative session exploring landscape in an abstract way:
• Working from nature and surroundings (weather permitting outdoors)
• Expressive mark making
• Layering colour and texture
• Loose, intuitive painting style
• A calming, immersive experience focused on freedom and expression.

 

Group 2 – Abstract Mixed Media Play.

• A vibrant, experimental creative session:
• Mixed media exploration
• Colour layering and texture building
• Free expressive painting
• No rules, no pressure
• Designed as a playful creative reset for adults.

All dates to be confirmed by 5 June to pre book via the website

 

Out side event -Family art class

Bring along your family (max 5 family’s total 4/5max persons per family)£65 per family for 2 hours

Event outside – Bring a blanket or ground sheet, each family will be given one canvas or board /large sheet of thick paper for pre -play, some paints and brushes. Bring your picnic food and drinks.

Saturday morning 11am to 1pm time to create and snack. Create a landscape together All materials included

Suitable For

Complete beginners, Returning creatives, Anyone wanting stress-free creative time.

No experience needed — just openness and curiosity. Weather permitting; if cancelled, a message will be sent to all who have signed up and a new date will be arranged. Payment made in advance

Date 6th July Saturday Weather permitting

At the Studio if l do not have the print or size you love l can create in two working days. 

 

Biography

Why I Create ?-

I create to turn thoughts and feelings into something you can see and connect with. Life asks us to hold on and let go at the same time—we begin one path, and it shifts beneath us. Art flows where words cannot, telling stories through feeling. My work uses animals, landscapes, bold colour, and movement to draw out emotion and pull you in.

What it becomes –

Art is for everyone. We all begin by creating, then somewhere along the way we stop. Can’t draw? Not sure how to start? Return to simple marks—circles, squares, a brush in your hand. It begins there again. That’s what Sketch Club online and studio sessions are about—starting again, using our emotions to help us see and feel our way back into making.
