Biography

Linda is a fine art photographer based in Warwick, UK. Her work explores landscapes, focusing on fragments of colour, shape, and reflections she encounters while out walking. Rather than recording a scene, she isolates and reworks individual elements, using digital processes to emphasise form or colour, often using a limited palette. The resulting images are a mix of abstraction and representation, creating a calm, dreamlike space that invites further investigation.

Born in Leamington Spa, Linda has been a photographer for over 30 years, initially using film and in the last 20 years, digital imaging.  She values the medium for the creative freedom and precision it allows. She was awarded her Licentiateship of the Royal Photographic Society in 2007 and previously ran a photography business for ten years. She now concentrates on developing her fine art practice alongside teaching other photographers.
