Exhibition and News

I am also exhibiting at Art in  the Park, Leamington Spa, and I’m exhibiting at three Craft in Focus events at Wisley, Hyde Hall & Hever Castle.  My Facebook group Aurora Hunting UK & Abroad now has 8000 members in where I help them see and photograph the aurora. I have also started taking small groups to Iceland on intensive aurora hunting trips so others can experience and photograph the lights. 

Biography

I have been imaging the night sky in some shape or form for about 20 years now, although my astronomy journey actually started more than twice as long ago.  I always knew when I was a boy that I wanted a job that involved the night sky. My first attempt at astrophotography was trying to image Halleys Comet in 1986 on a Kodak film camera, it didn’t go well! Thankfully technology has moved on since then and introducing people to the night sky through my images  from around the world is an amazing experience.
