Biography

Laura Dunmow. A Visionary Landscape Artist

I’m a professional representational artist, living and working in Worcestershire.

I create work that is both fresh and vibrant, capturing distinctive and unique visual experiences across a diverse range of subjects. I consider my landscape works to be semi abstract in style, inspired by my

travels but enhanced by strong use of contrasting colour to create  nal visions of atmopsheric and inspirational vistas, – capturing the ‘spirit of a place’

Oil is my selective medium where I enjoy the  exibility of its slower drying pace, where I occasionally apply impasto or gold leaf onto the canvas to create concepts adding depth and interest.

I continue to strengthen my focus on observation and the classical technics of drawing and paint application , which I believe all help me to enhance the final visual representations. Working from my

studio at home  I continue to strive for perfection, – always with the desire to experiment and produce works that create diverse opportunities for the next, new painting.

Throughout the year I take commissions that help celebrate events or milestones in peoples lives, capturing moments that connect on a personal level.

I’m represented by Broadway Contemporary Art and The Abbey Galleries. I exhibit at premier art fairs such as the Bath Art Fair, Broadway Arts Festival, Fresh Art Fair, Landmark Art Fai, Handmade in Oxford and The Affordable Art Fair, London.
