Media: Printmaking
Biography
I am a printmaker working mainly with lino printing, monoprint, and screen printing. I enjoy experimenting with process and materials, particularly printing onto unusual and unexpected backgrounds. This way of working allows the surface to become an important part of each piece, often influencing the final outcome in surprising ways.
Nature is a constant source of inspiration in my work. I am drawn to organic forms, textures, and patterns, and I often explore these through layering, repetition, and mark-making. I like to push the boundaries of traditional printmaking, balancing careful planning with moments of chance and discovery.
My practice is about exploration and curiosity — allowing ideas to evolve through the making process and embracing imperfections along the way. Each print is a response to both the natural and man-made world around us and the materials I am working with, resulting in work that is unique, expressive, and grounded.
