Biography

Anna Clarke is a Mixed Media artist and Gut Health specialist exploring the connections between creativity, wellbeing and sustainability. Through Anna Clarke – Create Nourish Heal, she combines art and holistic practice to inspire balance and self- care.

Inspired by nature’s textures and colours, she is drawn to the coastal landscapes of Salcombe and St Ives, and more recently to the Himalayan mountains and glacial waters encountered whilst trekking. She captures these influences through paint, collage, collagraph and eco-printing.

After losing her father, Anna transformed his sailing clothes by painting shared holiday memories onto them, turning grief into mindful creation. Themes of memory and reflections continue in her Rags to Treasure workshops, where discarded garments are reimagined as meaningful, upcycled pieces.

Since 2023, Anna has channelled her 30+ years of fashion retail & sustainability expertise into her role as Business Lead for Let’s Create and Reuse, delivering fully funded upcycling workshops that inspire schools and communities to build a more sustainable future.

Anna exhibits annually in St Ives with her collective MAC RAGS and, as a member of Kenilworth Artists and Leamington Studio Artists, regularly showcases her work across Warwickshire.

Added extras:
Anna offers Rags to Treasure Workshops from her Coach house studio from May-October.
