Biography

Alice works primarily with glass as her chosen medium of artistic expression. Since first discovering the art of glassmaking, her enthusiasm has remained undiminished, particularly in the fields of glassblowing and lampworking.
Originally from Hong Kong, Alice has been practising glass art there for over twenty years. Alongside developing her own creative work, she has also dedicated herself to teaching a wide range of glassmaking techniques.
Since moving to the United Kingdom, Alice has found her imagination further enriched by her new surroundings. Through the use of coloured glass, she brings a sense of vibrancy and vitality to everyday life. A devoted admirer of the natural world, she frequently draws inspiration from animals, incorporating their forms into her creations.
Glass is an exceptionally versatile material, and Alice employs two distinct techniques to explore and reveal the breadth of its expressive possibilities.
