Biography

I am self taught artist and have had a constant passion throughout my life and remain at the core of who I am.

My work has its roots in animals and wildlife, inspired by my late father, a  wildlife artist .Growing up around his work shaped my understanding of observation, patience, and respect for the natural world. Through drawing and painting animals, I learned not just how to capture form, but how to suggest character, movement, and presence.

I am drawn to working on a larger scale, often creating bold, expressive pieces and murals that allow the subject to breathe and command space. Scale is important to me—it mirrors the physicality of my working life and gives my artwork an energy that feels direct and immersive.

Since joining local art groups, my artistic outlook has expanded. Being part of a creative community has encouraged me to experiment, challenge my habits, and explore a wider range of subjects beyond my traditional focus. This ongoing evolution is an important part of my practice, as I balance instinct with exploration and tradition with growth.

My work reflects a life shaped by movement, observation, and inheritance—bridging a practical working world with a lifelong creative drive.
