Bring a warm glow to your home with a gently illuminated felted pod.

During this 3.5 hour workshop you’ll start by rolling a felted hanging cord to integrate seamlessly with the pod. You’ll then learn how to lay your wool fibres around a flat circular resist, incorporating the hanging cord, and add any other textured fibres, before felting the light pod with warm soapy water. You’ll have a vast choice of pre-felts, locks, fibres or even handmade paper. Once felted, you’ll cut an aperture and shape the pod, ready to illuminate with a battery operated LED light, revealing the beautiful tones of light.

Prior experience of felting will be an advantage, but it’s not essential.

All materials are supplied, alongside plenty of light refreshments and drinks to keep you fuelled throughout the workshop.

This workshop will run with a minimum of 2 participants, and a maximum of 6.
