Join textile artist, Penny Dixon to make a stunning wall hanging using tapestry weaving techniques on a frame loom. Spend a restful session learning how to make a unique wall hanging. Choose from a variety of ‘stitches’ that you will be able to use in the future. Plain or tabby weave, hopsack or basket weave and twill. Experiment with interlocking shapes and try soumak stitch. Wow!
They are all easy peasy and the fun is in the repetition. You can also just enjoy the process of plain weave and concentrate on colour.
Refreshments are included but bring your own lunch.
