I’m absolutely thrilled to share that one of my pieces has been selected for Ann Kullberg’s Hidden Treasures Magazine!
It’s such an honor to have my work included alongside so many inspiring colored pencil artists from around the world. Creating this piece was a real labor of love, and seeing it published feels like a beautiful milestone on my art journey.
A huge thank you to Ann Kullberg and her team for celebrating emerging artists and giving us a place to shine. This experience has reminded me how powerful it is to keep following your passion, even through the ups and downs.
Biography
I’m a colored pencil artist with a deep love for animals, nature, and the powerful connection they share with us. My work is all about capturing the spirit and freedom of animals — showing them as they truly are, beyond the stresses of the modern world. Every piece I create is an emotional journey, blending careful observation with a heartfelt desire to tell their stories.
Art has always been more than just a passion for me; it’s been a lifeline. During challenging times with my mental and physical health, creativity became a way to heal, express, and reconnect with myself. It’s this experience that drives me to share my work — not just to celebrate animals, but to encourage others to find peace and strength through creativity too.
While colored pencil is my main medium, I love to experiment with others — including watercolor, ink, and mixed media — to push my boundaries and let new ideas flow. Each new technique brings a different energy to my work, and I enjoy letting the materials guide me sometimes, rather than always following a strict plan.
Through my art, I hope to offer a space for people to slow down, breathe, and remember the simple joys that animals and nature bring into our lives. When I’m not at the drawing board, you’ll find me outside in the fresh air, sketchbook in hand, or snuggled up with my dogs, Bailey and Zeus, dreaming up my next project.
