Biography

When it comes to art i guess i break every rule out there so its true that nothing is quite what it seems in my creations. I take inspiration from the people, places and events that happen in and around Kenilworth and surrounding towns and villages. From flamingo’s dancing across a zebra crossing, ballerinas strutting their stuff on a lake and Custard Tart taste testing at Custard Corner, a lot of my work is colourful, fun and definitely out of the ordinary, created mainly in watercolour, acrylics and collage and fair to say it has a toungue in cheek vibe!  My invention – ‘The Adventures of Betty and Bob’ have caused quite a stir over the past year and they now have hundreds of followers near and far. Every month they get up to something a bit wild and wacky which plays out in the production of a monthly greeting card… Hot air balloon rides, Halloween Costumes, Penny for the Guy, Putting the Star on the Christmas tree, sledging down Abbey fields hill in the snow, there is no end to their adventures… you can see what they get up to each month on my Facebook page DISH Design Studio.
